EURUSD Daily Regime, 27 October 2026
Regime: bearish, pressing major support. EURUSD is 1.11745 on the completed M5 close at 23:00 UTC on 26 October. The 26 October daily candle fell from 1.12116 to 1.11735 and closed near its 1.11726 low. That confirms sellers retained control into the cutoff.
Higher-timeframe structure
W1 remains bearish. Price has fallen from the August peak at 1.17111 through a sequence of lower weekly highs and lower lows. The last completed week paused between 1.11756 and 1.12604, but did not reverse that decline. Monday then traded below the weekly low at 1.11756, so that support break has already occurred.
D1 shows compression near the bottom of the broader decline followed by renewed weakness. The recovery from 1.11125 stalled beneath 1.12691, and subsequent highs at 1.12604, 1.12557 and 1.12262 stepped lower. Monday closed below 1.11842 and 1.11756, leaving 1.11607 as the next nearby daily support. Beneath it, 1.11522 and the 14 October low at 1.11125 are the larger downside references.
H4 and H1 condition
H4 turned down from 1.12262 and printed sustained lower closes through the session. A bounce from 1.11730 reached 1.11950, but sellers erased it and the final completed H4 candle closed at 1.11735. That failed recovery makes 1.11909 to 1.11950 the first resistance band, followed by 1.12055 and 1.12262.
H1 is bearish and extended near support. The decline progressed from 1.12218 through 1.12042 and 1.11898 before closing at 1.11742 at 14:00 UTC. The later rebound peaked at 1.11950, then rolled over into closes at 1.11825, 1.11774, 1.11734, 1.11735 and 1.11745. The last three hourly candles held a narrow 1.11720 to 1.11780 area, showing balance at the lows rather than a confirmed reversal.
Latest M5 developments
The intraday support breaks are already observed developments. M5 sold through 1.12000, 1.11900 and 1.11800 during 26 October, reached 1.11730 at 13:55 UTC, and later rebounded to 1.11950. That rebound failed. Price returned to 1.11726, briefly printed 1.11720 after 22:00 UTC, then stabilized and closed at 1.11745. No completed M5 candle exists after the latest H1 close at 23:00 UTC, so there is no later lower-timeframe trigger to add.
Scenario map
-
Bearish continuation: Acceptance below 1.11720 would keep the break active and expose 1.11607, then 1.11522. A sustained move through those levels would reopen 1.11125.
-
Corrective rebound: Holding 1.11720 to 1.11607 can produce a relief move, but buyers first need to reclaim 1.11780 and then 1.11909 to 1.11950. Above that band, 1.12055 and 1.12262 become the next resistance levels. Until 1.11950 is recovered, a bounce remains corrective within the bearish regime.
Event risk
High-impact USD events are scheduled for 27 October: Durable Goods Orders at 12:30 UTC, followed by New Home Sales and the CB Consumer Confidence Index at 14:00 UTC. Those releases can determine whether the market accepts below 1.11720 or rejects the break back toward 1.11950.

Session Card
Day type: range | Lean: bearish | Lead scenario: breakdown continuation, 45% | Key invalidation: 1.11950 | Reference: 1.11724, M5 close at 2026-10-26 23:30 UTC
What changed
After the latest completed H1 candle closed at 1.11745 at 23:00 UTC, M5 price drifted lower to 1.11718 and closed at 1.11724. The earlier breaks of 1.12000, 1.11900, 1.11800 and the former 1.11756 weekly low are completed developments, not new Asia triggers.
The latest move has probed beneath 1.11720, but there is no completed close below 1.11718. That leaves support under pressure without confirming fresh acceptance lower. The failed rebound to 1.11950 still favors sellers, while compression directly above daily support at 1.11607 makes chasing weakness vulnerable to a false break.
Scenario Map
| Scenario | Prob | Trigger | Path & target | Invalidation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Breakdown continuation | 45% | Completed M5 close below 1.11718, followed by a retest that remains below 1.11726 | Move through 1.11607, with 1.11522 as the next separate target if selling persists | Completed M5 close above 1.11780 |
| Range rejection | 35% | Price tests the 1.11756 to 1.11780 resistance zone and then completes an M5 close below 1.11756 | Return to the 1.11718 to 1.11726 target zone | Completed M5 close above 1.11780 |
| Corrective rebound | 20% | Completed M5 close above 1.11780, then a retest that holds above 1.11756 | Advance to 1.11909, then the separately spaced 1.11950 resistance | Completed M5 close below 1.11726 |
These probabilities are judgment weights for the Asia window, not measured frequencies.
Key Levels
- 1.11718 to 1.11726: Lower target zone combining the latest M5 low with the 26 October daily low. Their 0.00008 gap is within the supplied 0.000318 target-zone tolerance.
- 1.11607: Daily support from 5 October and the first structural objective after confirmed acceptance below 1.11718.
- 1.11522: Separate daily support from 12 October. Its distance from 1.11607 exceeds the target-zone tolerance.
- 1.11756 to 1.11780: Resistance zone combining the broken weekly low with the upper edge of the late hourly balance. Their 0.00024 gap is within the target-zone tolerance.
- 1.11909: Lower edge of the failed H4 rebound area.
- 1.11950: The failed rebound high and numeric invalidation for the phase bearish lean. Its distance from 1.11909 exceeds the target-zone tolerance, so it remains separate.
Session Map
- 00:00 to 02:00 UTC: Let the opening range form. A brief move beneath 1.11718 isn't enough; continuation requires an M5 close below it and a failed retest beneath 1.11726.
- 02:00 to 06:00 UTC: Favor continuation only if price is building below 1.11718. If the lower probe is reclaimed, shift attention to reactions inside 1.11756 to 1.11780.
- 06:00 to 08:00 UTC: Avoid initiating a fresh position if price remains trapped between 1.11726 and 1.11756. Require a clean boundary break with room to the next structural objective before the phase ends.
No scheduled high-impact event falls inside the Asia window.
No-Trade Conditions
Do not sell a wick below 1.11718 without a completed M5 close and failed retest. Do not buy merely because 1.11607 is nearby; buyers must first recover 1.11780. Stand aside during repeated M5 closes inside 1.11726 to 1.11756, or after opposing breaks of 1.11718 and 1.11780 without sustained acceptance. Skip any entry whose first structural target has already traded before confirmation.
What to Watch — Invalidation
A sustained M5 recovery above 1.11780 weakens the immediate continuation case and opens the corrective path toward 1.11909. A completed move above 1.11950 invalidates the bearish lean for this Asia preparation. That would flag pressure against the accepted daily regime, not change the regime itself.
