EURUSD Daily Regime, 4 November 2026
Regime: Higher-timeframe bearish structure, short-term recovery now consolidating. The rebound from 1.11040 has repaired D1 and H4 momentum, but it hasn't broken the broader sequence of lower weekly highs. At the 1.11844 M5 close at 23:00 UTC, price is back near the lower edge of the latest intraday balance.
W1 and D1 structure
W1 remains bearish. EURUSD fell from the August peak at 1.17111 to 1.11040, while the latest completed week closed at 1.11567 after failing at 1.12262. The inference is that the recovery is still corrective unless price can establish itself above the 1.12604 to 1.12691 resistance area. A break there would expose 1.13909, but that hasn't happened.
D1 has recovered from 1.11040 through consecutive closes at 1.11870 and 1.11910. The 3 November candle held above its 1.11747 low but stalled below 1.12062, following the stronger 2 November rejection from 1.11453. This is observable improvement, though price remains beneath the 1.12366 swing high and the October resistance cluster around 1.12600. The daily condition is therefore neutral to mildly constructive inside the wider bearish structure.
H4 and H1 condition
H4 rallied sharply from 1.11453 to 1.12366 on 2 November, then retraced and compressed. Every completed H4 candle on 3 November closed between 1.11853 and 1.11943 despite ranges extending from 1.11747 to 1.12062. That is balance rather than directional continuation. Buyers repeatedly defended the 1.11747 to 1.11766 area, while attempts above 1.12000 failed to hold.
H1 shows the same two-sided trade. The session high at 1.12062 was rejected, the subsequent decline reached 1.11747, and the recovery stalled below 1.12008. The final completed hour opened at 1.11855 and closed at 1.11844, close to its 1.11840 low. That weak close leaves immediate pressure lower, but it remains inside the day's established range.
Latest M5 development
After the 22:00 UTC H1 close at 1.11910, M5 price reopened at 1.11855, recovered to 1.11912, then rolled over. Successive lower closes carried price to 1.11840, with the final M5 candle closing at 1.11844 at 23:00 UTC. The rejection of 1.11912 and return to the hourly low are observed developments, so an upside hold above 1.11910 is no longer an unfired trigger. Buyers now need a fresh reclaim.
Levels and scenarios
- 1.11840: Immediate support at the reference close. Acceptance below it would bring the already-tested 1.11747 to 1.11766 demand area back into focus.
- 1.11747 to 1.11766: Repeated H1 and H4 support. A sustained move below this zone would weaken the two-day recovery and expose 1.11453, followed by 1.11040.
- 1.11910 to 1.11921: First resistance after the late M5 rollover. Reclaiming and holding this band would ease immediate downside pressure.
- 1.12008 to 1.12062: Intraday supply and the upper edge of the 3 November range. Acceptance above 1.12062 would favor another test of 1.12366.
- 1.12366: Recovery high. A break and hold above it would strengthen the corrective advance toward 1.12604 to 1.12691.
- 1.12604 to 1.12691: Main higher-timeframe resistance. The weekly bearish structure remains intact below this area.
The base case is continued rotation between 1.11747 and 1.12062 until price gains acceptance outside that range. The late M5 decline gives sellers the immediate advantage near 1.11844, but the larger intraday condition stays balanced while 1.11747 holds. Below 1.11747, the balance would resolve toward 1.11453. Above 1.12062, the recovery would regain control toward 1.12366.
Event risk, 4 November
- 10:00 UTC: EUR CPI y/y, high importance.
- 13:15 UTC: USD ADP Nonfarm Employment Change, high importance.
- 15:00 UTC: USD ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI and Prices Paid, both high importance.
- 15:30 UTC: USD EIA Crude Oil Stocks Change, high importance.
These releases create separate volatility windows. The 10:00 UTC CPI can decide whether the European session escapes the 1.11747 to 1.12062 balance, while the clustered US releases from 13:15 UTC can reverse or extend any earlier move.

Session Card
Day type: range | Lean: mildly bullish while 1.11832-1.11840 holds | Lead scenario: supported rotation higher, 40% | Key invalidation: 1.11747 | Reference: 1.11927, M5 close at 2026-11-03 23:30 UTC
What changed
The latest completed H1 candle closed at 1.11844 at 23:00 UTC after rejecting 1.11912. The next six completed M5 candles reversed that weakness. Price dipped to 1.11832, recovered through 1.11910-1.11921, and closed at 1.11927. That reclaim is completed context, not a future trigger.
Immediate pressure has shifted from the lower edge of balance toward its upper half, but price remains inside the established 1.11747-1.12062 range. Buyers now need a fresh, bounded test of reclaimed support or acceptance above 1.12062. A return below 1.11832 would expose the repeated 1.11747-1.11766 demand zone.
The selected 3 November case had similar compression, but its opening resistance rejection reversed before completing the target. The difference today is that the reference follows a late reclaim rather than sitting below resistance. That supports a mild upside lean, while the earlier failure warns against assuming a touch of upper resistance will continue. The 29 October whipsaw also argues for treating a failed first candidate as cancelled. Any later setup must begin with a new break and confirmation sequence.
Scenario Map
| Scenario | Weight | Trigger | Path & target | Invalidation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Supported rotation higher | 40% | After both public publication and the 00:00 UTC opening, price must retest 1.11910-1.11921. Within the next three M5 bars, require two consecutive closes at or above 1.11920, with no intervening close below 1.11900. Entry: 1.11920-1.11935 after the second qualifying close. A close outside the entry budget is passed. Expiry: 07:30 UTC. | First opposition: 1.11991-1.12008 target zone, combining the latest H1 high with prior intraday supply. From the worst entry at 1.11935, gross room is 5.6 pips against 4.5 pips to the stop. If the zone clears, 1.12062 is the next separate target. | Scenario close invalidation: one M5 close below 1.11900 before confirmation, or two consecutive M5 closes below 1.11900 afterward. Structural stop: 1.11890, below the reclaimed band and permitted retest. |
| Breakdown through the late rebound low | 35% | After both public publication and the 00:00 UTC opening, require two consecutive M5 closes below 1.11832. Within the next three M5 bars, price must retest 1.11832-1.11850 and fail with one M5 close at or below 1.11830. Entry: 1.11815-1.11830 after that failed-reclaim close. A close outside the entry budget is passed. Expiry: 07:30 UTC. | First opposition: 1.11747-1.11766 target zone, the repeated H1 and H4 demand area. From the worst short entry at 1.11815, gross room is 4.9 pips against 4.5 pips to the stop. If the entire zone fails, 1.11453 is the next meaningfully separated target. | Scenario close invalidation: two consecutive M5 closes above 1.11850 after confirmation. Structural stop: 1.11860, above the full retest band and the broken rebound structure. |
| Acceptance above the range | 25% | After both public publication and the 00:00 UTC opening, require two consecutive M5 closes above 1.12062. Within the next three M5 bars, price must retest 1.12045-1.12062 without closing below 1.12045, then confirm the hold with one M5 close at or above 1.12065. Entry: 1.12065-1.12080 after that hold close. A close outside the entry budget is passed. Expiry: 07:30 UTC. | First opposition: 1.12144, the 30 October daily high. From the worst entry at 1.12080, gross room is 6.4 pips against 5.0 pips to the stop. Beyond it, 1.12218 is the next separate target. | Scenario close invalidation: two consecutive M5 closes below 1.12045 after confirmation. Structural stop: 1.12030, below the retest band and reclaimed range boundary. |
Spread and slippage weren't supplied. The room calculations are gross and include no known transaction costs. Check actual costs before entry and pass any candidate if they remove defensible room to its first opposition.
Key Levels
- 1.11910-1.11921: Reclaimed late resistance and the first support test for the lead scenario.
- 1.11832-1.11840: Late M5 rebound low and immediate downside boundary.
- 1.11991-1.12008: First upside target zone, grouped within the supplied 0.0003075 tolerance.
- 1.12062: Established range high and the acceptance boundary for an upside expansion.
- 1.11747-1.11766: Repeated H1 and H4 support, also grouped within the supplied tolerance.
- 1.12144: First structural opposition above the range.
- 1.11453: Separate downside objective if repeated demand fails.
Session Map
- 00:00-01:30 UTC: Tokyo cash opens at 09:00 Asia/Tokyo, which is 00:00 UTC. Let the opening test establish direction. No wick or single unconfirmed close is actionable.
- 01:30-05:00 UTC: Hong Kong and Shanghai cash open at 09:30 local time, which is 01:30 UTC. Use only the complete confirmation and bounded retest sequences in the Scenario Map.
- 05:00-07:30 UTC: Require the first opposition to remain ahead of the full entry budget. Pass a late move if its target has already traded or confirmation misses the budget.
- 07:30-08:00 UTC: No new entry. Manage an existing candidate only; every incomplete plan expires at the 08:00 UTC phase boundary.
No supplied high-importance event falls inside the Asia window. The 10:00 UTC EUR release is outside this phase and must not be used to justify an Asia entry.
No-Trade Conditions
Do not initiate while M5 closes rotate between 1.11850 and 1.11910 without completing a prepared sequence. Stand aside if opposing breaks occur and neither bounded retest confirms, or if a required retest arrives after its three-bar limit.
A decisive reclaim through a candidate's close invalidation cancels that candidate. Any later break is a new setup. Pass confirmations outside the entry budget, after 07:30 UTC, after the first opposition has already traded, or when current spread and slippage leave no defensible room.
What to Watch — Invalidation
A completed break below 1.11832 removes the immediate benefit of the late reclaim. Failure of 1.11747 would invalidate the mild phase lean and weaken the two-day recovery toward 1.11453.
Acceptance above 1.12062 would shift the phase from rotation toward expansion, but it would not change the accepted higher-timeframe regime. That regime remains under pressure only if price establishes itself above 1.12604-1.12691.

The bearish rotation was useful early: price rejected the opening push through 1.11929 and fell to within 0.1 pip of 1.11765. It then recovered and stopped the lead resistance-rejection path before that target traded. The exact preparation is a Miss. Resistance rejection was the only branch to complete its conditional trigger, and it failed. The support-breakdown and recovery branches never triggered. Execution remains unassessable under the frozen replay's ambiguous-rule decision, so this isn't an executable los” Lesson from that review: “The resistance zone identified the opening turn, but the target was too exact to award. A low of 1.11766 doesn't satisfy a 1.11765 objective, and the later stop makes the conditional branch a clear failure. The bounded-retest rule also mattered. The first completed confirmation closed at 1.11864, below the stated entry budget. Even without the frozen ambiguity ruling, a later return toward the bud”
