EURUSD daily regime, 6 November 2026
Regime: Broader bearish structure, with the recent daily recovery now stalling. The short-term condition is bearish below 1.12310 and 1.12436, but price remains above the more consequential 1.12025 support area.
Reference: 1.12160 on the completed M5 candle closed at 23:00 UTC on 5 November.
W1 and D1 structure
The completed weekly sequence remains bearish. EURUSD fell from the August 1.17111 high through successive lower trading zones, and the latest completed week closed at 1.11567 after reaching 1.11040. October's repeated rebounds failed around 1.12600 to 1.12764, making that band established weekly resistance.
On D1, price recovered from 1.11040 and reached 1.12726 on 4 November. The 5 November candle then tested 1.12678, fell to 1.12025 and closed at 1.12184. That is an observed rejection from weekly resistance rather than a confirmed resumption of the larger decline. A daily close below 1.12025 would strengthen the bearish continuation inference, while recovery through 1.12678 to 1.12726 would invalidate the immediate bearish condition.
H4 and H1 condition
H4 shows a completed recovery from 1.11453 to 1.12726, followed by a lower high at 1.12678 and renewed selling. The final two H4 candles closed at 1.12392 and 1.12184, leaving sellers in control beneath 1.12436. The pullback has reached the lower part of the recent H4 range, so chasing weakness directly into 1.12025 offers poor location.
H1 confirms short-term deterioration. After the 1.12678 rejection, price formed lower highs and closed the final hour at 1.12160. The latest H1 candle traded through the earlier 1.12150 support to 1.12073 before recovering. That support break has already happened; the remaining question is whether the recovery can reclaim 1.12205, then 1.12310.
Latest M5 development
During the final completed H1 period, M5 sold from 1.12180 to 1.12073 at 22:30 UTC, then rebounded as high as 1.12205. The rebound failed to hold above 1.12192 and the final M5 candle closed at 1.12160. This is observed rejection after a liquidity sweep, but it hasn't produced fresh continuation below 1.12073 or a bullish reclaim of 1.12205.
Levels and remaining scenarios
- Bearish continuation: Acceptance below 1.12073 and 1.12025 would expose 1.11832 to 1.11747, followed by 1.11453. The completed weekly low at 1.11040 is the larger downside reference.
- Range recovery: Holding 1.12025 and reclaiming 1.12205 would ease immediate pressure. Buyers would still need to clear 1.12310 and 1.12436 before another test of 1.12678 to 1.12726 becomes credible.
- Bullish reversal: Sustained trade above 1.12726 would break the current lower-high sequence and shift attention toward 1.13113, then 1.13909. Until then, strength remains a recovery inside the broader bearish structure.
Event risk
The high-risk window is 6 November at 13:30 UTC, when US unemployment, nonfarm payrolls and average hourly earnings are scheduled together. That cluster can invalidate intraday structure quickly, especially around 1.12025 support or the 1.12436 resistance area.

Session Card
Day type: range | Lean: mildly bearish below 1.12436 | Lead scenario: rejection at 1.12310, 40% | Key invalidation: 1.12436 | Reference: 1.12298, M5 close at 2026-11-05 23:30 UTC
What changed
The latest completed H1 candle closed at 1.12160 at 23:00 UTC after trading through the earlier 1.12150 support to 1.12073. That break and the subsequent recovery are completed context, not future triggers.
During the next six completed M5 candles, EURUSD rose from 1.12159 to 1.12298 and reached 1.12309. The move reclaimed 1.12205 on completed closes, but no supplied candle closed above 1.12310. Immediate pressure has therefore eased, while the rebound remains capped at the first short-term bearish boundary.
The 1.12025 daily support held during the preceding decline. Sellers now need a fresh break below that level rather than another reference to the already-completed 1.12073 sweep. Buyers need fresh in-window acceptance above 1.12310, followed by room through 1.12392 and 1.12436.
The two most recent selected Asia cases both expanded into upside trends after range calls, so another break above resistance deserves a defined branch. The difference here is the completed daily rejection from 1.12678 and the late H1 deterioration. The 3 November case also warns that an accurate opening rejection can reverse before an exact objective, which makes the nearest opposition binding.
Scenario Map
| Scenario | Weight | Trigger | Path & target | Invalidation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rejection at 1.12310 | 40% | After 00:00 UTC and public publication, price must trade into 1.12310-1.12330, then complete one M5 close below 1.12290. Within the next three M5 bars, it must retest 1.12290-1.12310 and confirm failure with one M5 close at or below 1.12285. Entry: 1.12275-1.12285 after the failed-reclaim close. A confirmation outside the budget is passed. Expiry: 07:30 UTC. | First opposition: 1.12205, the reclaimed H1 rebound high. From the worst permitted entry at 1.12275, gross room is 7.0 pips against 6.5 pips to the stop. If 1.12205 fails, 1.12073 is the next objective, followed separately by 1.12025. | Scenario close invalidation: one M5 close above 1.12330 after confirmation. Structural stop: 1.12340, above the full rejection band and the pre-opening 1.12309 high. |
| Acceptance above 1.12310 | 35% | After 00:00 UTC and public publication, require two consecutive M5 closes above 1.12310. Within the next three M5 bars, price must retest 1.12290-1.12310 without closing below 1.12290, then confirm the hold with one M5 close at or above 1.12315. Entry: 1.12315-1.12325 after the hold close. A confirmation outside the budget is passed. Expiry: 07:30 UTC. | First opposition: 1.12392, the late H1 rebound high and breakdown origin. From the worst entry at 1.12325, gross room is 6.7 pips against 5.5 pips to the stop. A clean break through 1.12392 exposes the separate 1.12436 H4 resistance. | Scenario close invalidation: two consecutive M5 closes below 1.12290 after confirmation. Structural stop: 1.12270, below the retest tolerance and reclaimed 1.12310 boundary. |
| Fresh breakdown below 1.12025 | 25% | After 00:00 UTC and public publication, require two consecutive M5 closes below 1.12025. Within the next three M5 bars, price must retest 1.12025-1.12045 and fail with one M5 close at or below 1.12020. Entry: 1.12005-1.12020 after the failed-reclaim close. A confirmation outside the budget is passed. Expiry: 07:30 UTC. | First opposition: 1.11832, the 4 November daily low and recovery base. From the worst short entry at 1.12005, gross room is 17.3 pips against 5.5 pips to the stop. If 1.11832 fails, 1.11747 is the next separate structural objective. | Scenario close invalidation: two consecutive M5 closes above 1.12045 after confirmation. Structural stop: 1.12060, above the full failed-reclaim band and broken daily support. |
Spread and slippage weren't supplied. The room figures are gross. Check actual costs at the decision point and pass any candidate if costs remove defensible room to its first opposition.
Key Levels
- 1.12310: Immediate acceptance or rejection boundary. The pre-opening rally reached 1.12309 but didn't close above it.
- 1.12392: First opposition after confirmed upside acceptance.
- 1.12436: H4 resistance and key invalidation for the phase's bearish lean.
- 1.12205: Reclaimed before the opening and now the nearest support on a rejection.
- 1.12073: Completed sweep low. A return here is an objective, not a new version of the earlier break.
- 1.12025: Consequential daily support and the boundary required for a fresh downside expansion.
- 1.11832: First structural objective below 1.12025.
- 1.11747: Separate lower support if 1.11832 fails.
Session Map
- 00:00-01:30 UTC: Tokyo cash opens at 09:00 Asia/Tokyo, which is 00:00 UTC. Treat the rally to 1.12309 as pre-opening context and require a fresh in-window sequence.
- 01:30-05:00 UTC: Hong Kong and Shanghai cash open at 09:30 local time, which is 01:30 UTC. Use only the complete close and bounded-retest conditions in the Scenario Map.
- 05:00-07:30 UTC: Check that the full entry budget still has room to the first opposition. Pass a move whose target has already traded or whose confirmation closes outside budget.
- 07:30-08:00 UTC: No new entry. Manage an existing plan only. Every incomplete candidate expires at the 08:00 UTC phase boundary.
No supplied high-importance event falls inside the Asia window.
No-Trade Conditions
Do not initiate while completed M5 candles rotate between 1.12205 and 1.12310 without completing a prepared sequence. A wick through either boundary, one close where two are required, or a retest after the stated three-bar limit isn't enough.
Pass any confirmation outside its entry budget, after 07:30 UTC, or after the first opposition has traded. If opposing breaks occur without either bounded retest holding, wait for a wholly new candidate. A decisive reclaim through a scenario's close invalidation cancels that candidate.
The rejection setup has thin gross room to 1.12205. Unknown spread or slippage can remove that room, so it must be passed when actual costs make the first objective indefensible.
What to Watch — Invalidation
Two consecutive M5 closes above 1.12436 would invalidate the phase's mildly bearish lean and shift attention back toward 1.12678 and 1.12726. That would not by itself replace the accepted daily regime. Sustained trade above 1.12726 remains the broader structural challenge.
Below, 1.12073 has already been swept and recovered. The bearish continuation case now requires a fresh, confirmed failure of 1.12025. If that support remains intact, weakness into it is poor location rather than confirmation of renewed daily decline.

Session Summary
Asia became a bearish trend, not the prepared range. EURUSD opened at 1.12275, briefly reached 1.12344, then declined to 1.11672 before closing the phase at 1.11765. The mildly bearish lean below 1.12436 was correct, but none of the three prepared scenarios completed its full trigger. The preparation grade is Partial under the three-value contract: No trigger / no trade.
Grade Card

|---|---|
| Day type | Range call missed. Actual: bearish trend. |
| Directional lean | Correct. Price stayed below 1.12436 and finished 51.0 pips below the 1.12275 phase open. |
| Rejection at 1.12310, 40% | Not triggered. Price entered 1.12310 to 1.12330 and closed below 1.12290 at 00:20 UTC, but did not retest 1.12290 to 1.12310 within the next three M5 bars. |
| Acceptance above 1.12310, 35% | Not triggered. The closes at 00:05 and 00:10 UTC were above 1.12310, but the bounded retest did not produce a hold close at or above 1.12315. Price instead closed below 1.12290 at 00:20 UTC. |
| Fresh breakdown below 1.12025, 25% | Not triggered. The closes at 03:40 and 03:45 UTC were below 1.12025, but none of the next three M5 bars retested 1.12025 to 1.12045. The subsequent decline cannot replace that missing step. |
| Execution | Unassessable for all three branches because the frozen replay marks each source rule ambiguous. No fill or executable result is claimed. |
The Tape
The opening push tested the prepared resistance area immediately. M5 closed at 1.12312 at 00:05 UTC and 1.12327 at 00:10 UTC, with the phase high reaching 1.12344. The move then failed sharply. The 00:20 UTC close at 1.12256 satisfied the first close condition for the rejection branch, but price had already moved below its required retest band and never returned within the three-bar limit.
The first H1 candle closed at 1.12187, below both 1.12310 and 1.12205. The next two hours extended lower to closes of 1.12092 and 1.12055. Daily support at 1.12025 finally gave way when M5 closed at 1.12020 at 03:40 UTC and 1.11984 at 03:45 UTC. That was a genuine breakdown in the tape, but not the prepared breakdown trigger because no bounded retest followed.
Price consolidated near 1.11910 to 1.12001 through the middle of the phase, then resumed lower after 06:15 UTC. The 06:00 H1 candle closed at 1.11817, and the final hour reached 1.11672 before closing at 1.11765. The phase covered 67.2 pips from high to low and showed sustained downside expansion rather than two-sided range rotation.
What We Learned
The directional read was useful, and 1.12310 correctly marked the opening turn. The trigger design was too dependent on a tidy retest. Both bearish paths identified the right boundaries, but each required price to return after confirmation. The market broke and kept moving.
That distinction matters. The later passage through 1.12205, 1.12073, 1.12025, 1.11832 and 1.11747 doesn't convert either incomplete sequence into a hit. A continuation branch should account for clean breaks that offer no immediate retest, while still keeping a firm entry budget and expiry.
Handover
Current, ungraded handover: EURUSD stands at 1.11765 after reaching 1.11672 in the final Asia hour. The former 1.12025 daily support has been decisively lost, and both 1.11832 and 1.11747 traded during the decline. Those levels now form the nearest recovery barriers, followed by 1.12025.
The next preparation should treat 1.11672 as immediate support. Continued acceptance below it would leave the broader 1.11453 reference exposed. A recovery first needs to reclaim 1.11747 and 1.11832; regaining 1.12025 would be the stronger sign that the Asia breakdown is losing control. The scheduled 13:30 UTC US data cluster remains the main later-session risk.

Session Card
Day type: trend | Lean: bearish below 1.11832 | Lead scenario: failed recovery at 1.11832, 45% | Key invalidation: 1.11851 | Reference: 1.11765, M5 close at 08:00 UTC
What changed
The overnight decline confirmed the weakness described in the daily regime. EURUSD failed after reaching 1.12344, closed successive hours below 1.12025, and then broke the 1.11832 and 1.11747 supports before London opened. The latest completed H1 candle traded to 1.11672 and recovered only to 1.11765.
Those downside breaks are completed developments, not London triggers. The accepted broader bearish regime remains unchanged, but the immediate condition has strengthened because 1.12025 failed rather than holding as consequential support. Price now sits close to the 1.11672 pre-opening low, so selling at the reference would chase an already extended move.
There are no completed M5 candles after the latest H1 close. London must either produce a failed recovery toward 1.11832 or confirm a fresh break of 1.11672 before a new bearish entry is considered.
The 3 November case supports waiting for a break, bounded retest and failed reclaim, but that session began above its downside objective and rotated after reaching it. Today has already broken several supports before the phase. The 5 November review also warns against making the lead depend on an ambitious recovery, so direct continuation below 1.11672 remains a separate branch. The opposite challenge is the 22 October correction, where a bullish hold failed quickly after activation. Any recovery above 1.11832 therefore needs sustained closes and a held retest before it can be treated as repair.
Scenario Map
| Scenario | Weight | Trigger | Path & target | Invalidation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| --- | ---: | --- | --- | --- |
| Failed recovery at 1.11832 | 45% | After the opening and publication, one completed M5 close at or above 1.11832 starts the candidate. Within the next three M5 bars, price must retest 1.11832 inside 1.11817-1.11847 and then complete two consecutive M5 closes below 1.11817, with the second close no later than the third bar. Entry: 1.11800-1.11817 after confirmation. A fill outside the area is passed. Expiry: 12:30 UTC | First opposition: 1.11672, the pre-opening low. From the worst permitted entry at 1.11800, room is 12.8 pips before costs. If fresh structure forms below it, 1.11522 is the next separate objective | Scenario close invalidation: completed M5 close above 1.11851 after confirmation. Structural stop: 1.11865, beyond the latest H1 rebound high and the retest band. Risk from the worst permitted entry is 6.5 pips before costs |
| Fresh continuation below 1.11672 | 35% | One completed M5 close below 1.11672 starts the candidate. Within the next three M5 bars, price must retest 1.11672 inside 1.11657-1.11687 and complete an M5 close below 1.11672. Entry: 1.11655-1.11670 after confirmation. A fill outside the area is passed. Expiry: 12:30 UTC | First opposition: 1.11522, the completed 12 October daily low. From the worst permitted entry at 1.11655, room is 13.3 pips before costs. The separate 1.11453 daily support matters only after 1.11522 is cleared | Scenario close invalidation: completed M5 close above 1.11747 after confirmation. Structural stop: 1.11705, beyond the broken pre-opening low and retest tolerance. Risk from the worst permitted entry is 5.0 pips before costs |
| Repair above 1.11832 | 20% | Two consecutive completed M5 closes above 1.11832. Within the next three M5 bars, price must retest 1.11832 inside 1.11817-1.11847 and complete an M5 close above 1.11832. Context-only, no entry. Expiry: 12:30 UTC | First opposition: 1.11907-1.11915 target zone, grouping the latest completed H4 low with the nearby pre-opening M5 structure. The nearby opposition leaves insufficient room for a supported entry budget | Structural invalidation: completed M5 close below 1.11747 after confirmation |
Spread and slippage aren't supplied. The executable room and risk figures exclude those costs; pass an entry if actual costs materially consume the space to first opposition.
Key Levels
- 1.12025: Former consequential daily support. It failed overnight and is now well above the immediate London decision area.
- 1.11907-1.11915: First recovery target zone above a confirmed repair of 1.11832.
- 1.11832: Broken daily low and main recovery decision level.
- 1.11851: Latest completed H1 rebound high and lead-scenario invalidation.
- 1.11747-1.11765: Grouped former daily support and current reference area. Price recovered into it after the pre-opening low, but it hasn't been reclaimed by a fresh London close.
- 1.11672: Pre-opening low and fresh continuation threshold.
- 1.11522: First structural opposition below 1.11672.
- 1.11453: Separate daily support beyond 1.11522.
Session Map
- 08:00-09:00 UTC: London cash open in Europe/London. Treat the first response around 1.11747-1.11832 as discovery. Don't sell directly into 1.11672.
- 09:00-11:00 UTC: Main confirmation window. A recovery must fail through the full 1.11832 sequence, while continuation requires a new break and bounded retest of 1.11672.
- 11:00-12:30 UTC: Require fresh structure if either first opposition has already been reached. Do not count a later target after expiry as completion of this plan.
- 12:30-13:00 UTC: No new entries. All candidates expire at 12:30 UTC, before the phase ends at 13:00 UTC.
No supplied high-importance EUR or USD event occurs inside this phase.
No-Trade Conditions
Do not trade while M5 closes alternate inside 1.11672-1.11832 without completing one of the bounded retests. A wick through either boundary isn't confirmation.
Pass a candidate if its retest takes more than three M5 bars, confirmation completes outside the stated entry area, or price reaches first opposition before an entry is available. A decisive reclaim cancels the active bearish candidate; any later break is a new candidate and needs a new confirmation sequence.
Do not short at the reference simply because the earlier supports failed. That move is already complete, and the remaining room to 1.11672 is too small to support an entry without a recovery first.
What to Watch — Invalidation
The accepted daily regime remains bearish. A completed M5 close above 1.11851 invalidates the failed-recovery lead, while sustained repair above 1.11832 shifts the phase toward the 1.11907-1.11915 zone. That would be an intraday recovery, not a change to the accepted higher-timeframe regime.
Below 1.11672, continuation is credible only after the stated retest fails. If London instead repeatedly rejects prices below 1.11672 and reclaims 1.11747, the direct continuation candidate is cancelled.

Historical review excerpt: “The bearish lean was right, but the expected trap around 1.12580 never developed. London stayed below that level and turned into a directional decline after an early high at 1.12488. The phase opened at 1.12421, traded down to 1.12161 and closed at 1.12248. The 30% repaired-support alternative was the only branch to trigger. It completed its sequence below 1.12392 and reached the 1.12300 to 1.12350 target zone on the next completed M5 candle. That makes the preparation a Hit under the conditional grading rules, although no executable entry was supported.” Lesson from that review: “The preparation handled the nearby downside obstacle correctly. Treating the break of 1.12392 as context-only prevented a directional forecast from being confused with an executable short whose first objective was already close. The lead scenario was too dependent on a recovery that never arrived. Once the early bounce stalled at 1.12488, the market shifted directly into the lower-weight bearish b”

Differences: dynamics: current breakout, historical compression; ATR: current 0.548217%, historical 0.592081%. Historical review assessment: hit (the journal’s assessment). Historical review excerpt: “The bearish lead played out. EURUSD failed to hold the early push through 1.12028, completed the required break and failed-reclaim sequence below 1.11929, then reached the 1.11765-1.11766 target zone without a later M5 close above the 1.12028 invalidation. The preparation grades Hit . The range call and bearish lean were correct: London rotated from 1.12053 resistance to a 1.11747 low, then settled at 1.11809 rather than sustaining a break beyond the lower boundary. Execution remains unassessable because the frozen replay marks both entry rules as ambiguous.” Lesson from that review: “Requiring the full break, bounded retest and second close below 1.11929 filtered out the earlier alternation around that level. The complete sequence did not confirm until 08:55 UTC, after which the market reached the exact first opposition identified in the preparation. The bullish alternative was correctly made harder to activate after the pre-opening rejection. One close above 1.12028 was not e”

Session Summary
EURUSD produced an early bullish repair, reached its recovery objective, then reversed below 1.11832. The 45% failed-recovery lead subsequently confirmed, but selling stopped at 1.11689 before the 12:30 UTC expiry, leaving the 1.11672 objective untouched. The preparation grades Partial because one triggered branch hit and another delivered incomplete follow-through.
The bearish lean was correct, but the trend call was not. London behaved as a trap: the early repair above 1.11832 reached 1.11907 to 1.11915, then failed and gave way to a lower close.
Grade Card
| Scenario | Weight | Outcome | Evidence | Execution |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Failed recovery at 1.11832 | 45% | Partial | A later candidate began with the 1.11843 close at 08:50 UTC. Price retested the stated band, then closed at 1.11784 and 1.11804, confirming at 09:05 UTC. The subsequent low was 1.11689, short of 1.11672, and no post-confirmation close exceeded 1.11851. | Unassessable. The frozen execution rule is marked ambiguous, so no fill or executable result can be claimed. |
| Fresh continuation below 1.11672 | 35% | Not triggered | No completed M5 close below 1.11672 occurred before the 12:30 UTC expiry. | Unassessable under the supplied execution guidance. No confirmation price is known within the valid window. |
| Repair above 1.11832 | 20% | Hit | M5 closed at 1.11835 and 1.11876 at 08:10 and 08:15 UTC. The next candle retested the 1.11817 to 1.11847 band and closed at 1.11860 at 08:20 UTC. The 1.11907 to 1.11915 target zone was reached by the candle closed at 08:40 UTC, which traded to 1.11918. | Context-only. This scenario explicitly supported no entry. |
The Tape
The gradeable tape began with the M5 candle closed at 08:10 UTC. Price immediately repaired above 1.11832 and extended to a 1.11918 phase high during the candle closed at 08:40 UTC. That completed the bullish context branch before the recovery rolled over.
The lead sequence confirmed at 09:05 UTC with a 1.11804 close. EURUSD then fell through 1.11747 and reached 1.11689 during the candle closed at 10:00 UTC. Follow-through stalled there. The next two completed hours closed at 1.11723, and the 11:00 to 12:00 UTC hour ranged between 1.11707 and 1.11796.
The final phase hour broke lower only after the plan's entry expiry. It traded to 1.11632 and closed at 1.11679. That late move cannot complete either bearish scenario.
What We Learned
The preparation correctly avoided selling the opening reference near 1.11672. London first moved the other way, and the repair branch accurately identified both the required structure and the 1.11907 to 1.11915 objective.
The later failed-recovery sequence also read the reversal correctly, but 1.11672 was too demanding within the valid window. The market stopped three tenths of a pip above it at 1.11689, then spent more than two hours rotating around 1.11720 to 1.11790. This was a trap and range transition before the post-expiry break, not a clean phase-long trend.
Handover
Current, ungraded context: after the 12:30 UTC expiry, EURUSD completed a close below 1.11672 at 12:55 UTC, traded to 1.11632, and recovered to the 1.11679 reference at the phase close. That confirms fresh weakness for the next preparation, but it does not alter this review.
The next decision is whether 1.11672 now caps recovery. Holding below it keeps 1.11522 as the first structural downside objective, with 1.11453 beyond. A reclaim of 1.11747 would weaken the late breakdown, while recovery through 1.11832 would reopen the failed London repair area.

Session Card
Day type: event-suspended | Lean: bearish, but no chase before post-event confirmation | Lead scenario: renewed continuation, 45% | Key invalidation: 1.11832 | Reference: 1.11679 on the completed M5 candle closed at 13:00 UTC
What changed
The bearish continuation described in the daily regime has already fired. After an overnight rebound reached 1.12344, EURUSD broke 1.12025, traded through 1.11832 and 1.11747, then reached 1.11672 during Europe. A rebound to 1.11918 failed, and selling resumed into the New York opening, producing a fresh 1.11632 low before the 1.11679 reference close.
That changes the task from anticipating a support break to judging whether an extended move can continue after the 13:30 UTC US data cluster. The old 1.11832 and 1.11747 downside objectives are now broken resistance. The 1.11632 to 1.11644 zone is the immediate floor, combining today's low with the October 7 H4 low. The next untouched structural support is 1.11453.
The October 14 comparison supports allowing for delayed bearish expansion after an event, but today's decline is already mature before the release. October 5 warns that a large pre-session breakdown can end at support and repair slowly. October 22 is the sharper challenge to the bearish lead: a confirmed downside path failed at its nearer opposition and later invalidated. That makes a bounded retest and a separate stop essential here.
Scenario Map
| Scenario | Weight | Trigger | Path & target | Invalidation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Renewed continuation | 45% | Only after 14:00 UTC and after this preparation is public: one completed M15 close below 1.11632, followed within the next three M5 bars by a retest of 1.11632 to 1.11662 and an M5 close back below 1.11632. Entry: 1.11620-1.11640. A confirmation or fill outside that budget is passed. Expiry: 19:00 UTC. | First opposition: 1.11453, the 2 November daily low. From the worst permitted entry at 1.11620, room is 16.7 pips against 7.5 pips to the stop. No cost schedule is supplied, so spread and event slippage remain unknown and reduce that room. If 1.11453 breaks, 1.11040 is the next separated structural area. | Scenario invalidation: completed M15 close above 1.11747. Structural stop: 1.11695, above the 1.11672 European low and the permitted retest band. |
| Post-event repair | 35% | One completed M15 close above 1.11747, then within four M5 bars a retest of 1.11717 to 1.11747 that holds with an M5 close above 1.11747. Observation expiry: 22:00 UTC. Context-only, no entry. | First opposition: 1.11832. A later break could expose 1.11907, but the nearer 1.11832 resistance cannot be skipped. The available room does not support a structural stop once unknown event costs are included. | Scenario invalidation: completed M15 close below 1.11632. Structural invalidation remains beneath 1.11632, but no executable stop and entry budget are justified. |
| Downside sweep, then containment | 20% | After 13:30 UTC, price trades below 1.11632 but an M15 candle closes back above 1.11632. Within the next three M5 bars it must retest 1.11632 to 1.11662 and close above 1.11662. Observation expiry: 22:00 UTC. Context-only, no entry. | First opposition: 1.11747. This is a repair path inside the larger decline, not evidence that the daily regime has reversed. Event spread, slippage and the short distance to resistance leave no defensible executable room. | Scenario invalidation: completed M15 close below 1.11632 after the reclaim. No structural stop is proposed because the branch is context-only. |
Key Levels
| Level | Role | Reading |
|---|---|---|
| 1.11832 | Session invalidation resistance | Broken 4 November daily low and first meaningful repair barrier above 1.11747 |
| 1.11747 | Immediate resistance | Broken 3 November daily low and the first reclaim test |
| 1.11632-1.11644 | Immediate support zone | Current New York opening low and October 7 H4 low, grouped within the supplied 0.000306 target tolerance |
| 1.11453 | First downside objective | Untouched 2 November daily low and nearest structural opposition below current price |
| 1.11040 | Lower support | Prior completed weekly low, separated clearly from 1.11453 |
Session Map
-
13:00 to 13:30 UTC: No entry. The morning decline is completed context, and price is sitting directly above the 1.11632 to 1.11644 support zone.
-
13:30 to 14:00 UTC: US unemployment, payrolls and average hourly earnings arrive together at 13:30 UTC. Do not trade the first impulse. Wait for a completed M15 candle.
-
14:00 to 14:30 UTC: Assess whether price has accepted below 1.11632 or reclaimed it. A wick through the level does nothing by itself.
-
14:30 to 17:00 UTC: The New York cash session opens at 09:30 America/New_York time, which is 14:30 UTC on this date. Require the exact retest sequence in the scenario map; alternating closes around 1.11632 are unresolved.
-
17:00 to 19:00 UTC: The continuation entry remains available only within its price budget. At 19:00 UTC it expires even if the directional idea remains plausible.
-
19:00 to 22:00 UTC: Observation only. Any later break needs a fresh plan, and all remaining phase scenarios expire at 22:00 UTC.
No-Trade Conditions
-
No entry during the 13:30 UTC release impulse or before the first post-release M15 close.
-
Do not sell the already-completed breaks of 1.12025, 1.11832 or 1.11747. A new short requires fresh acceptance below 1.11632 and the bounded retest.
-
Pass the continuation candidate if price reaches 1.11453 before the retest, if the retest takes more than three M5 bars, or if the available fill is outside 1.11620 to 1.11640.
-
Stand aside if consecutive M15 candles close on opposite sides of 1.11632, price gaps across the entry budget, or event spreads and slippage cannot be assessed before entry.
-
Do not buy a reclaim merely because 1.11632 holds. The first repair branches are context-only because nearby resistance leaves inadequate executable room.
What to Watch — Invalidation
A completed M15 close above 1.11747 cancels the active downside candidate. Any later break below 1.11632 is a new candidate and must complete its own retest. A completed H1 close above 1.11832 would invalidate the bearish New York lean and show that the morning breakdown is being repaired toward 1.11907 and 1.12025.
That session invalidation does not change the accepted daily regime. The broader bearish structure remains in force unless price recovers through the established 1.12678 to 1.12726 barrier.

Historical review excerpt: “On October 14, 2026, EURUSD stayed contained through the scheduled CPI window, then resolved lower during delayed New York trading. The preparation mapped the bearish acceptance path and its timing, but the full session became a trend day and the neutral lean finished on the wrong side of a 41.3-pip close-to-open decline.” Lesson from that review: “The bearish resolution itself was mapped, but its size was not. EURUSD extended 38.8 pips below the final 1.11513 target before recovering, and the day became a trend session after spending most of the scheduled event window in suspension. That was a moderate surprise, but the delayed timing was foreseeable because the preparation had already marked 14:30 to 16:30 UTC as the second decision window” Whole-day preparation; original publication cutoff unverified.

The pair opened at 1.12558, fell to 1.11607 before London, then recovered to close at 1.12227. The Short lean got the close direction right, but the Trend day call and 45% direct-continuation lead missed the failure to extend below 1.11607 and the late reclaim of 1.12147.” Lesson from that review: “The moderate surprise was not the repair itself. The preparation gave Asia-break failure 33% and warned that 1.76 times daily ATR had already been spent before London. What it did not map was a slow repair that reclaimed 1.12147 only late, without reaching the 1.12516 threshold required by the full repair branch.
