S&P 500 Daily Regime, 6 November 2026
Regime: bearish expansion with failed recovery and elevated event risk.
The reference price is 7329.53, from the completed M5 candle closed at 22:00 UTC on 5 November.
Structure
Observation: Completed W1 candles peaked at 7845.02 in early October, then posted three consecutive lower closes at 7657.87, 7632.83 and 7580.52. The latest daily candle opened at 7706.96, reached 7711.64, then collapsed to a 7329.53 close near its 7325.84 low. It erased the 4 November recovery and broke every prior low supplied in the packet, including 7525.82, 7516.97 and 7461.89.
Inference: Weekly and daily structure now point to downside continuation. The 4 November rally to 7718.19 was a failed recovery, not a durable reversal. With price below the entire supplied historical range, there is no confirmed lower support level in this packet beyond the fresh 7325.84 low.
H4 and H1 condition
H4 shifted from balance near 7700 into a two-candle liquidation. The 14:00 H4 candle fell from 7697.14 to 7394.14, and the 18:00 candle extended to 7325.84 before closing at 7329.53. H1 confirms persistent selling: rebounds to 7488.14, 7430.39 and 7419.76 all failed, followed by a final hourly close near the low.
The immediate condition is stretched but still bearish. A rebound can occur after such a sharp fall, yet it remains corrective unless price reclaims broken H1 resistance and begins holding above it.
Latest M5 development
The final H1 began at 7355.10. M5 price briefly rebounded as high as 7348.34, failed below 7355.10, then printed a new low at 7325.84 and closed at 7329.53. That confirms the earlier support breaks as completed developments. No completed M5 candles were supplied after the latest H1 close at 22:00 UTC, so there is no later reversal evidence.
Levels and remaining scenarios
- 7325.84: Current session low and immediate decision level. Acceptance below it would extend the bearish expansion into territory not covered by the supplied candles.
- 7355.10 to 7355.85: First resistance from the final H1 open and prior close. Reclaiming it would ease immediate pressure but wouldn’t repair the structure.
- 7391.64 to 7430.39: Failed rebound area. Holding above 7430.39 is required for a more credible short-covering recovery.
- 7443.89 to 7488.14: Stronger H1 supply and the next repair zone.
- 7525.82 to 7580.52: Major broken daily and weekly support, now resistance. Recovery above this band would be the first meaningful challenge to the bearish regime.
- 7632.83 to 7718.19: Higher resistance containing former weekly closes and the failed 4 November rally. The broader structure remains bearish below this area.
The base case is continued downside pressure while price remains below 7391.64, with 7325.84 vulnerable to another test. A recovery scenario starts only after an H1 reclaim of 7355.85, then needs acceptance above 7430.39. Failure beneath either area keeps rebounds corrective.
Dated event risk
Three high-importance USD releases are scheduled together for 6 November at 13:30 UTC: Nonfarm Payrolls, the Unemployment Rate and Average Hourly Earnings. That cluster can produce gaps, sharp reversals and poor execution around the release. Initial Jobless Claims on 5 November occurred before the data cutoff and has already passed.

Session Card
Day type: trend | Lean: bearish while below 7325.84, but no chasing fresh lows | Lead scenario: rejection of 7325.84, 45% | Key invalidation: 7355.85 | Reference: 7324.04, M5 close at 2026-11-05 23:30 UTC
What changed
Six completed M5 candles followed the latest H1 close. Price opened that sequence at 7338.70, reached 7344.85, then broke the former 7325.84 low with several closes beneath it. The decline reached a fresh 7295.60 low before rebounding to 7324.04. That support break has already happened and cannot serve as a future trigger.
The rebound recovered 28.44 points from the new low but still closed below 7325.84. Immediate pressure therefore remains bearish, though the sharp recovery makes another straight-line selloff unsafe to chase. The 30 October comparison supports waiting for closes and a bounded failed reclaim before following downside continuation. The 7 October trap is the challenge to that view: a decisive recovery through broken support can turn an apparently durable break into a reversal.
Scenario Map
| Scenario | Weight | Trigger | Path & target | Invalidation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rejection of broken support | 45% | Price trades into 7323.73-7329.84, then within the next two M5 bars produces one M5 close below 7321.84. The retest tolerance is 4 points around 7325.84. Entry: 7318.00-7322.00 after confirmation. Pass if confirmation finishes below 7318.00. Expiry: 07:30 UTC. | First opposition: 7295.60, the fresh completed M5 low. From the worst permitted short entry at 7318.00, room is 22.40 points against 17.50 points to the stop. Spread and slippage are unknown and must not consume that room. | Scenario close invalidation: one M5 close above 7331.10 after confirmation. Structural stop: 7335.50, above the pre-opening rebound high at 7331.10. |
| Reclaim of 7325.84 | 30% | Two consecutive M5 closes above 7325.84, followed within three M5 bars by a retest of 7321.84-7329.84. The retest must stay above 7317.73 and produce one M5 close above 7325.84 within two bars. Expiry: 07:30 UTC. Context-only, no entry. | First opposition: 7344.85-7348.34 target zone, combining the post-H1 rebound high with the final-H1 rebound high. Confirmation near 7325.84 leaves insufficient room for a defensible stop below 7317.73 once unknown costs are considered. | Structural invalidation: one M5 close below 7317.73 after the confirmed reclaim. No executable stop and entry budget have defensible room to first opposition. |
| Sweep of 7295.60, then corrective bounce | 25% | Price trades within 7291.60-7299.60, then within four M5 bars prints two consecutive closes above 7311.35. Within the next two bars it must retest 7307.35-7311.35 and close above 7311.35. Expiry: 07:00 UTC. Context-only, no entry. | First opposition: 7323.73-7325.84 target zone, combining the pre-opening break level and the former daily low. The target is too close after full confirmation to support an executable entry. | Structural invalidation: one M5 close below 7295.60 after the hold sequence. No defensible executable stop fits before first opposition. |
Key Levels
- 7355.10-7355.85: Final H1 open and prior H1 close. Acceptance above 7355.85 invalidates the immediate bearish preparation without changing the accepted daily regime.
- 7344.85-7348.34: Rebound target zone formed by the latest post-H1 high and the earlier final-H1 rebound high.
- 7331.10: Latest rebound high and the close-based invalidation for the executable short candidate.
- 7323.73-7325.84: Immediate decision zone. It combines the first post-H1 low with the broken daily low, grouped within the supplied 6.10-point tolerance.
- 7317.73: Pre-opening breakdown level and structural protection for a confirmed reclaim.
- 7295.60: Fresh completed M5 low. It has been tested once and is now the nearest known downside opposition.
Session Map
- 00:00 UTC: Asia phase begins with the 09:00 Asia/Tokyo cash open. Earlier moves are context only. No scenario can activate before both the phase opening and public availability.
- 00:00-01:30 UTC: Let price show whether 7325.84 rejects or reclaims. Avoid treating an opening wick as confirmation.
- 01:30 UTC: The 09:30 Asia/Hong_Kong and Asia/Shanghai cash opens can produce a second volatility burst. Require the full stated close and bounded-retest sequence after any spike.
- 06:00-08:00 UTC: Require a fresh candidate if an earlier sequence was cancelled. All unfinished plans expire at their stated boundaries, and nothing carries beyond the 08:00 UTC phase end.
No high-importance USD release is scheduled inside this phase.
No-Trade Conditions
Do not sell a fresh break below 7295.60 because the packet supplies no lower structural target. Do not treat proximity to 7325.84, a wick through it or one close above it as a confirmed reclaim.
Pass the short if confirmation completes outside 7318.00-7322.00, if 7295.60 trades before entry, or if spread and slippage remove the stated room. A close above 7331.10 cancels that candidate. Any later rejection requires a new sequence.
Stay out if price oscillates between 7295.60 and 7325.84 without completing a bounded retest. The two recovery branches remain context-only because confirmation leaves inadequate room to their first structural opposition.
What to Watch — Invalidation
The bearish preparation is challenged first by a confirmed reclaim of 7325.84, then by acceptance through 7344.85-7348.34. Acceptance above 7355.85 is the numeric invalidation. Below that level, rebounds remain corrective, but another break of 7295.60 is observation only unless new structure establishes a defensible target and entry budget.

The 45% lead scenario confirmed at 00:55 UTC with an M5 close at 7659.02. Price later reached the first objective at 7637.72, but stopped 1.10 points above the separate 7631.42 objective. That makes the preparation partial. Execution remains unassessable under the supplied ambiguous-rule guidance, so this isn't an executable win or claimed fill.” Lesson from that review: “The directional preparation was sound. Waiting for two closes and a bounded retest avoided treating the first wick below 7661.33 as enough evidence. Once confirmation arrived, price continued to the first mapped opposition without touching the 7676.63 scenario invalidation. The separate 7631.42 objective mattered. The preparation mapped the downside break and its first target, so the selloff itself was not outside the plan. Session Summary
Asia produced a whipsaw recovery, not the prepared bearish trend. The phase opened at 7323.98, rallied through 7344.85-7348.34 and the 7355.85 invalidation, reached 7389.85, then fell back to 7325.90 before closing at 7356.03.
None of the three stated scenario triggers completed before expiry. The correct preparation grade is Partial under the no-trigger contract: no trigger, no trade. The bearish lean was incorrect, while the 45% lead scenario remained inactive rather than failing.
Grade Card
| Scenario | Weight | Outcome | Evidence | Execution |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rejection of broken support | 45% | Not triggered | The opening M5 candle traded inside 7323.73-7329.84, but neither of the next two M5 candles closed below 7321.84. The later test near 7325.84 came after the 07:30 expiry. | Unassessable under the frozen ambiguous-rule guidance. No executable win or loss is claimed. |
| Reclaim of 7325.84 | 30% | Not triggered | M5 closes at 00:05 and 00:10 were above 7325.84, but no retest of 7321.84-7329.84 followed within three M5 bars. | Context-only. |
| Sweep of 7295.60, then corrective bounce | 25% | Not triggered | Price never traded inside 7291.60-7299.60 during the grading window. | Context-only. |
The 45% lead exceeded the second-highest weight by 15 percentage points. Its status is Not triggered. No branch fired, so the fired scenario weight is 0%.
The Tape
The opening candle immediately rejected the bearish premise. It traded down to 7323.35 but closed at 7337.54 at 00:05 UTC. The next candle reached 7348.85 and closed at 7346.60 at 00:10 UTC, taking price through the prepared recovery target zone. That move did not count as a scenario hit because the reclaim branch still required its bounded retest and confirmation sequence.
Price closed above the 7355.85 numeric invalidation at 00:25 UTC, with a 7359.79 close. The advance continued to 7376.79 during the first hour and reached the phase high of 7389.85 before the 02:55 UTC close. H1 confirmed the recovery with closes of 7365.67 at 01:00 UTC and 7381.23 at 03:00 UTC.
The second half reversed much of that advance. Price fell from the 7389.85 high, traded down to 7344.23 during the 06:00 hour, recovered above 7355.85, then sold off again after 07:00. The 07:30 M5 candle closed at 7333.78, and the next candle reached 7325.90. That test occurred after the scenario expiries and could not activate or rescue any branch. A sharp final rebound carried the phase close back to 7356.03.
What We Learned
The preparation correctly identified 7325.84 as the central decision level and mapped the possibility of a recovery toward 7344.85-7348.34. The weakness was making the bearish rejection the lead after the pre-opening rebound had already recovered sharply from 7295.60. Asia accepted above 7325.84 almost immediately and invalidated the bearish lean through 7355.85 within 25 minutes.
The exact retest rules still did their job. The recovery path was directionally relevant, but its required retest never occurred, so it cannot be graded as a hit. The late return toward 7325.84 also cannot be used retrospectively because it came after expiry. The broad rise, deep reversal and final rebound support a Whipsaw classification rather than Trend.
Handover
Current handover context is ungraded. Asia finished at 7356.03 after defending 7325.90 late in the phase. The immediate range is 7325.84 to 7389.85. Holding above 7355.85 keeps the recovery structure alive, while a completed close back below 7325.84 would reopen pressure toward 7295.60. The 7344.85-7348.34 area is the first nearby support test after the reclaim, and 7389.85 is the nearest confirmed resistance.
Three high-importance USD releases are scheduled together at 13:30 UTC. The next preparation should account for the possibility that price remains contained inside the Asia range before that event cluster.

Session Card
Day type: trap | Lean: bearish below 7391.64, with tactical recovery above 7362.23 | Lead scenario: recovery holds above the opening cap, 40% | Key invalidation: 7391.64 | Reference: 7356.03, M5 close at 2026-11-06 08:00 UTC
What changed
Price extended the accepted bearish regime overnight, breaking the prior 7325.84 low and reaching 7295.60. That move was completed before London. Buyers then reclaimed 7325.84, 7355.10 and briefly reached 7389.85, stopping just below the broken H1 support at 7391.64.
The recovery hasn't become a structural reversal. Price failed to hold near 7389.85, and the final pre-opening H1 candle fell from 7359.35 to 7325.90 before recovering to 7356.03. That close preserved 7325.84 by 0.06 points and reclaimed the 7355.10 to 7356.03 area, but it remained below the immediate M5 cap at 7362.23. No completed M5 candle follows that H1 close.
This leaves a trap structure between an overnight downside break that reversed and a recovery that failed beneath 7391.64. The 30 October case warns that bearish pressure near a tested floor can resolve as rotation rather than continuation. The 3 November case adds a sequencing warning: a target reached before confirmation cannot validate a later trigger. Those mistakes challenge the preferred recovery branch, so it requires a fresh post-opening hold above 7362.23 and must respect 7376.79 as the first opposition.
Scenario Map
| Scenario | Weight | Trigger | Path & target | Invalidation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Recovery holds above the opening cap | 40% | After the opening and public publication, require 2 consecutive M5 closes above 7362.23. Within the next 3 M5 bars, price must retest 7357.23-7362.23 and hold, confirmed by 1 M5 close above 7362.23. Any M5 close below 7357.23 during the retest cancels that candidate. Entry: 7362.23-7365.00 after confirmation. A confirmation outside that budget is passed. Expiry: 11:30 UTC. | First opposition: 7376.79, the overnight recovery high. Beyond it, the next target is the 7389.85-7391.64 zone, grouping the overnight high with broken H1 support because their 1.79 point gap is within the 6.10 point tolerance. From the worst entry at 7365.00, room to first opposition is 11.79 points against 10.50 points to the stop before costs. Spread and slippage are unknown, so pass if they remove that room. | Scenario invalidation: 1 M5 close below 7355.10 after confirmation. Structural stop: 7354.50, beneath the reclaimed final H1 open and close area. |
| Fresh continuation below the reclaimed floor | 35% | Require 2 consecutive M5 closes below 7325.84. Within the next 3 M5 bars, price must retest 7325.84-7331.28 and fail, confirmed by 1 M5 close below 7325.84. Any M5 close above 7331.28 during the retest cancels that candidate. Entry: 7322.00-7325.84 after confirmation. A confirmation outside that budget is passed. Expiry: 11:30 UTC. | First opposition: 7295.60, the overnight low. From the worst short entry at 7322.00, room is 26.40 points against 17.50 points to the stop before costs. No lower structural objective is confirmed in the packet. | Scenario invalidation: 1 M5 close above 7338.40 after confirmation. Structural stop: 7339.50, above the latest lower reaction cap. |
| Opening trap remains unresolved | 25% | After a test of either 7331.28-7338.40 or 7357.23-7362.23, require an M5 close back inside 7338.40-7357.23 within the next 3 bars, followed by a second consecutive M5 close inside that range. A close below 7331.28 after the lower test or above 7362.23 after the upper test cancels that candidate. Context-only, no entry. | Rotation toward the opposite side of the 7338.40-7357.23 range. The direction depends on which boundary rejects, so the packet doesn't support one fixed entry budget and structural stop. | Structural invalidation: an M5 close below 7325.84 or above 7376.79. |
Key Levels
| Role | Level or zone | Reading |
|---|---|---|
| Regime challenge | 7389.85-7391.64 | Overnight recovery high and broken H1 support, grouped within the supplied tolerance. Holding above 7391.64 would invalidate the London bearish lean without changing the accepted daily regime. |
| First recovery opposition | 7376.79 | Earlier overnight high and the nearest objective above a confirmed 7362.23 reclaim. |
| Opening cap | 7362.23 | Latest completed M5 reaction high. Recovery needs closing acceptance and a held retest above it. |
| Reclaimed pivot | 7355.10-7356.03 | Final selloff origin and current reference area. Repeated crossings favor no trade. |
| Lower reaction band | 7331.28-7338.40 | Latest rebound base and cap before the pre-opening recovery. |
| Reclaimed floor | 7325.84-7325.90 | Prior session low and final pre-opening H1 low, grouped because the gap is 0.06 points. |
| Overnight low | 7295.60 | Tested lower extreme and first opposition after a fresh confirmed break of 7325.84. |

08:00-09:00 UTC: London cash trading opens at 08:00 Europe/London, which is 08:00 UTC on this date. Let price resolve the 7355.10-7362.23 opening area. Only candles completed after both the opening and public publication can count toward confirmation.
-
09:00-11:00 UTC: Above 7362.23, require the full held retest before considering recovery. Below 7325.84, require the two-close break and bounded failed reclaim. Movement between those levels remains two-sided context.
-
11:00-11:30 UTC: Accept only confirmations that remain inside their entry budgets and still have room to first opposition. Pass a setup if its first target has already traded after confirmation.
-
11:30-13:00 UTC: Both executable plans are expired. No new entry from these scenarios. No supplied high-importance event falls inside this phase.
No-Trade Conditions
Do not sell the overnight break to 7295.60 or buy the completed recovery to 7389.85. Both happened before the phase opened. A wick through 7325.84 or 7362.23 is insufficient.
Stand aside while M5 closes alternate around 7355.10-7356.03, if one candle spans both 7338.40 and 7362.23, or if a required retest takes more than 3 M5 bars. A decisive reclaim cancels the active candidate. Any later break must start a new sequence.
Pass a trigger outside its entry budget. Also pass if unknown spread or slippage removes the stated room from the worst permitted entry to first opposition relative to the structural stop.
What to Watch — Invalidation
A completed M5 close above 7391.64 invalidates the London bearish lean and shows that the overnight rebound has repaired the first broken H1 resistance area. Failure to hold 7362.23 keeps that repair incomplete. Below, a fresh confirmed loss of 7325.84 reopens 7295.60, but the overnight breach itself cannot be reused as a London trigger.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Recovery holds above the opening cap | hit | unassessable | 7365.15 | ambiguous-rule |

Forecast direction assessment: correct. Day type: called trap, observed trap.
Conditional price-path completion is separate from entry eligibility. Eligibility does not establish a fill, a trade, or a profit. A passed first candidate cannot be rescued by a later return into budget.
Session Summary
London delivered the prepared trap structure. Price recovered above the 7362.23 opening cap, reached both recovery objectives, briefly established closes above the 7389.85 to 7391.64 regime challenge, then gave back nearly the entire advance. The phase traded from 7350.28 to 7400.03 and closed at 7360.28.
The 40% lead scenario was a conditional hit. Its full M5 sequence confirmed at 7365.15 on the candle closed at 08:35 UTC. The confirmation was 0.15 points above the stated entry budget, and the frozen execution replay remains unassessable because the source rule is ambiguous. This was a forecast success, not an executable win.
Grade Card
| Scenario | Weight | Outcome | Evidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Recovery holds above the opening cap | 40% | Hit | M5 closed above 7362.23 at 08:20 and 08:25 UTC. Price retested the 7357.23 to 7362.23 band, then confirmed above the cap at 7365.15 at 08:35 UTC. The 7376.79 opposition traded on the candle closed at 09:05 UTC, and the 7389.85 to 7391.64 target zone traded on the candle closed at 09:35 UTC. No post-confirmation M5 close broke the 7355.10 invalidation first. |
| Fresh continuation below the reclaimed floor | 35% | Not triggered | No supplied grading candle closed below 7325.84, so the required two-close break and failed retest never began. |
| Opening trap remains unresolved | 25% | Not triggered | The upper band was tested early, but the required two consecutive closes inside 7338.40 to 7357.23 did not form. The lower band was not tested during the gradeable phase. |
Preparation outcome: Hit. Only the recovery scenario triggered, and it reached every stated objective after confirmation. Execution outcome: Unassessable under the frozen replay, so no fill or trade result can be claimed.
The Tape
The first gradeable candles dipped to 7350.28, then recovered. M5 closes at 08:20 and 08:25 UTC printed 7362.90 and 7369.59, completing the two-close break above 7362.23. The next candle retested the prepared band with a 7361.03 low and 7361.22 close. The candle closed at 08:35 UTC then confirmed the hold at 7365.15.
Price continued higher without closing below 7355.10. It crossed 7376.79 during the candle closed at 09:05 UTC, then entered the 7389.85 to 7391.64 target zone during the candle closed at 09:35 UTC. The advance topped at 7400.03. M5 closes at 09:35, 09:40 and 09:45 UTC remained above 7391.64, invalidating the session's bearish lean while that reclaim held.
The breakout didn't last. The 09:50 UTC close fell back to 7390.53, and the next hour closed at 7382.15. Price then rotated mainly between the high 7360s and low 7380s before selling into the phase close at 7360.28. The final hour's 7360.03 low stopped above 7355.10, but the close finished below the 7362.23 opening cap.
What We Learned
The tactical recovery condition did its job. Waiting for two closes above 7362.23 and a held retest avoided treating the opening fluctuation as confirmation. Both objectives were then reached in the stated order.
The entry budget also mattered. Conditional confirmation came at 7365.15, just beyond the 7365.00 ceiling. That small difference separates a correct market forecast from a supported execution claim. The frozen replay's ambiguous-rule finding keeps execution unassessable.
The bearish lean was too rigid once M5 began holding above 7391.64. Price later reversed, but that later failure cannot erase the completed reclaim. The trap day-type call was accurate because the recovery broke the regime challenge and then returned to the opening area by the phase close.
Handover
Current ungraded handover price is 7360.28. The recovery has fully retraced beneath 7362.23, leaving 7355.10 to 7362.23 as the immediate decision area. Holding below it keeps the failed 7400.03 recovery in control and brings 7338.40, 7331.28 and 7325.84 back into view. A fresh reclaim should first clear 7376.79, then confront 7389.85 to 7391.64 again. The 7400.03 phase high is the next resistance above that zone.
Three high-importance USD releases are scheduled for 13:30 UTC, after this reviewed phase and after the collection cutoff. The next preparation should treat price around those releases as new, ungraded information and require fresh confirmation rather than reuse London's recovery sequence.

Session Card
Day type: event-suspended | Lean: bearish below 7400.03 | Lead scenario: retained break below 7325.84, 45% | Key invalidation: 7400.03 | Reference: 7360.28, M5 close at 2026-11-06 13:00 UTC
What changed
Price extended yesterday's liquidation overnight, breaking the 7325.84 low and reaching 7295.60. That break has already happened. It then failed to retain control: price reclaimed 7325.84, rallied to 7400.03 and later closed the latest H1 candle at 7360.28.
The recovery repaired immediate pressure above 7355.85, but it stalled inside the prior failed-rebound area. The 7400.03 high briefly cleared 7391.64, then price fell back below both levels. The result is a wide overnight range with sellers still controlling the larger structure and buyers defending the fresh low.
The 13:30 UTC US employment cluster creates the first major decision point, followed by the 14:30 UTC New York cash open. The October 30 comparison shows that an event-suspended setup can become a trend session once support fails and the retest is rejected. The November 3 case challenges the bearish lean: a reclaimed low developed into a larger recovery once resistance held as support. Today therefore needs fresh post-open retention below 7325.84. The overnight break alone cannot justify a short.
Scenario Map
| Scenario | Weight | Trigger | Path & target | Invalidation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Retained break below the reclaimed low | 45% | After 14:30 UTC and public publication, require two consecutive M5 closes below 7325.84. Within the next three M5 bars, price must retest 7325.84-7331.09 and fail, confirmed by one M5 close below 7325.84. A close above 7331.09 cancels that candidate; a later break starts a new candidate. Entry: 7318.00-7324.50. Expiry: 19:30 UTC. Pass if the first available price after confirmation is below 7318.00. | First opposition: 7295.60, the overnight low. | Scenario close invalidation: one M5 close above 7331.09 after confirmation. Structural stop: 7336.50, above the 7333.59 reaction shelf and the failed-retest band. |
| Recovery clears overnight resistance | 30% | After 14:30 UTC and public publication, require two consecutive M5 closes above 7400.03. Within the next three M5 bars, price must retest 7391.64-7400.03 and hold, confirmed by one M5 close above 7400.03. A close below 7391.64 cancels that candidate. Context-only, no entry. | First opposition: 7419.76, the prior H1 rebound high. A clean break would expose the separate 7430.39 resistance. | Scenario close invalidation: one M5 close below 7391.64 after confirmation. Structural invalidation is 7388.50, below the reclaimed resistance band. Confirmation leaves too little room to 7419.76 for a defensible entry against that structure. |
| Reclaimed low holds and rotation resumes | 25% | After 14:30 UTC and public publication, price must trade at or below 7331.09 without an M5 close below 7325.84, then print two consecutive M5 closes above 7355.85. Within the next three M5 bars, a retest of 7350.35-7355.85 must hold, confirmed by one M5 close above 7355.85. Context-only, no entry. | First opposition: 7376.79, the first overnight recovery high above the reclaimed pivot. | Scenario close invalidation: one M5 close below 7344.23 after confirmation. Structural invalidation is 7325.84. The first opposition is too close to support an entry with a stop beneath the defended low. |
For the executable downside plan, the worst permitted short entry at 7318.00 leaves 22.40 points to 7295.60 against 18.50 points to the structural stop. Spread, fees and employment-release slippage are not supplied. Pass if those unknown costs materially consume the available room.
Key Levels
- 7419.76: First structural opposition above a confirmed 7400.03 reclaim.
- 7400.03: Overnight high and numeric invalidation for the intraday bearish lean.
- 7391.64: Lower edge of the prior failed-rebound area and required support for a recovery.
- 7350.35-7355.85: Immediate pivot zone, combining the prior H1 close with the former breakdown area.
- 7323.35-7325.90: Reclaimed low zone, combining the overnight H1 low with yesterday's 7325.84 low and today's 7325.90 retest.
- 7295.60: Fresh overnight low and first downside objective after a retained break.
Session Map
- 13:20 to 14:00 UTC: No new entry around the 13:30 UTC Nonfarm Payrolls, Unemployment Rate and Average Hourly Earnings releases. Any completed sequence in this interval is observed context and passed.
- 14:30 UTC: New York cash open, 09:30 America/New_York. Scenario confirmation can begin only after this opening and public publication.
- 14:30 to 19:30 UTC: Main decision window. Require the stated closes and one bounded retest before considering the downside plan.
- 19:30 UTC: The executable downside plan expires. Later moves are context-only.
- 22:00 UTC: Phase ends and every incomplete scenario expires.
No-Trade Conditions
- Do not trade the already-completed overnight break of 7325.84 or chase a move that has already reached 7295.60.
- No scenario can trigger before both the New York cash open and public publication.
- Take no new entry during the 13:20 to 14:00 UTC event blackout.
- Pass the downside candidate if 7295.60 trades before an eligible entry, confirmation finishes below 7318.00, or price closes above 7331.09 during the retest sequence.
- Stand aside while M5 repeatedly crosses 7350.35-7355.85 without completing a bounded hold or while price whips between 7325.84 and 7400.03 after the cash open.
- A bare wick through any threshold is insufficient. Each branch needs its stated closes and retest within three M5 bars.
What to Watch — Invalidation
A retained M5 reclaim of 7400.03 would invalidate the intraday bearish lean and shift attention to 7419.76, then 7430.39. It would not overturn the accepted daily bearish regime. That larger regime remains challenged only by sustained repair through the higher broken H1 supply.
Below 7400.03, failure back through 7350.35-7355.85 keeps 7325.84 exposed. The bearish continuation case becomes actionable only after a fresh post-open break, bounded failed retest and entry inside budget. A decisive recovery from 7325.84 would cancel that candidate and favor rotation instead.

The confirmed break of the daily floor triggered at the 13:45 UTC close and reached both stated downside objectives by 14:15 UTC. The bearish lean was correct while price stayed below 7661.33.
